Description:
This funding, which aims to foster innovation and business growth, can be awarded at any stage of a business’s development. Projects submitted by SMEs or NPOs are funded for fostering expansion, productivity and growth through innovation. This funding is provided under the REGI program.

For SMEs
b. a. Financial assistance generally of up to 50% of authorized costs.
This funding is repayable, without interest. Repayment begins two years after the end of the project.

4. Non-profit organizations (NPOs)
5. Business support organizations
6. Indigenous organizations

Documentation Needed:
Applicants must submit a
1. summary of your project by using, where applicable, existing documents such as a business plan, financial statements, pamphlets, internal financial projections, etc. In particular, succinctly point out the important items from among the following:
a. description of the business
b. project description and objectives
c. list of planned activities and expenditures
d. the project’s financing package
e. recent financial statements and percentage of international sales (outside of Canada)
f. the project’s anticipated start and end dates
g. anticipated benefits of the project
