Description:
The Produce program is designed to support the production of commercially viable music recording products by the Manitoba music recording industry.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
1. artists who are Manitoba residents. A Manitoba resident means an individual who is legally entitled to be and remain in Canada, is currently a resident of Manitoba and has been for not less than three hundred and sixty-five (365) days prior to the date of application. In the case of partnerships, a minimum of 50% of the partnership must meet this residency requirement;
2. at least 18 years of age.
3. For level 3 applications, the artist must have Manitoba Film & Music-recognized distribution AND have attained a minimum number of approved sales in order to apply for the program.

Other Things to Note:
Applicants may apply under one of three different program levels.
1. Level 1—to help record a demo to be used as a calling card or as pre-production for an upcoming full-length release, or to record songs intended for commercial release;
2. Level 2—to help record five or more songs to be released for sale through all mediums (including online distribution);
3. Level 3—to help record six or more songs to be released for sale through all mediums (including online distribution).
