Manitoba Music: Perform Program

Description:

The Perform program is intended to provide Manitoba artists/groups with tour support funding to develop audiences outside of their hometown. This includes performances and tours across Canada, through the United States and internationally.

This program was formerly called the Recording Artists Touring Support program.

Comments on Funding:

Perform – live concert tour support: For applicants with a current MFM-funded release, Manitoba Film & Music’s financial participation may be up to 50% of the total eligible costs to a maximum of $15,000 per fiscal year (April 1st – March 31st). For applicants without a current MFM-funded release, Manitoba Film & Music’s financial participation may be up to 50% of the total eligible costs to a maximum of $7,500 per fiscal year.

Manitoba Film & Music-Funded Out of Province Recording Artists: Out of Province Recording Artists who have received Manitoba Film & Music funding for their current release are eligible to apply to the Perform
program. Manitoba Film & Music’s financial participation may be up to 50% of the total eligible costs to a maximum of $5,000 per fiscal year.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:
1. artists who are Manitoba residents. A Manitoba resident means an individual who is legally entitled to be and remain in Canada, is currently a resident of Manitoba and has been for not less than 1 year prior to the date of application. In the case of partnerships, a minimum of 50% of the partnership must meet this residency requirement;
2. at least 18 years of age.
3. in good standing without file overdue and/or owing money back for a previous grant;
4. registered as a business or incorporated in Manitoba.

4. live concerts tour Final Cost Report Summary;
5. Live Concers Tour Report;
6. Online Concerts Report;.
7. verification of factor/other funding;
8. other documents as required.
