LiONʼS LAIR

LiONʼS LAIR is an annual competition presented by Innovation Factory in partnership with the City of Hamilton Economic Development office, which brings together the entrepreneurship and innovation community in Hamilton. The competition gives up-and-coming entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business to a panel of Hamilton’s top business experts for a chance to win cash prizes.

Who can apply

Businesses that should apply to Founders Fast Track (the route to LiONS LAIR) are those that:

  1. Is past proof of concept
  2. Is in start-up to SME stages of business
  3. Is an innovative and scalable technology, product or service
  4. Falls within one of the following sectors: Life science, ICT, advanced manufacturing, smart transportation, cleantech, and social innovation
  5. Is ready to engage with our training sessions and expert mentors
  6. Is able to participate and engage with us at our Hamilton and Halton office locations
  7. Attendance is mandatory for all Founders Fast Track training sessions unless otherwise communicated with the Venture Growth team; failure to meet program requirements will impact eligibility for the LiONS LAIR pitch competition.
