Description:

LeapIN Business Accelerator, a 12-week program, is a real-world, hands-on learning experience designed for early-stage Fanshawe College founders to validate their business ideas, establish a minimum viable product, and build a roadmap for implementation to launch their startup.

Eligibility:

Applicants must: 1. be Fanshawe students and alumni;
2. be eligible to work in Canada;
3. have a reliable internet connection and device to participate;
4. must attend a minimum of 90% of the program sessions (in person or online);
5. must dedicate a minimum of 35 hours a week to their business and program activities;
6. must attend bi-weekly business advisor sessions to aid in growth.
Business eligibility:
1. Any legal idea for a physical/digital product or service is eligible;
2. Ideas can be a for-profit, social enterprise, or non-profit business model;
3. They will consider applicants in the idea stage and also existing companies with up to 1 year in business. 4. Business concepts must be beyond the idea stage:
a) Businesses can demonstrate some evidence of idea validation and have undertaken some form of primary and secondary market research.
