Description:
This program aims to promote barrier-free and safe development for all in commercial establishments in certain sectors.
Comments on Funding:
The program provides financial assistance amounting to 90% of the cost of eligible work for the adaptation of one or more establishments, up to a maximum amount of $7,500 per establishment.
Continuous Intake
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be the owners or lessees of a non-vacant commercial or service-use building located in the City of Trois-Rivières;
2. have these eligible works:
a) correcting or reducing obstacles that limit the entry and exit of commercial establishments;
b) improving access to restrooms as well as various sanitary facilities. The work must be carried out by a contractor holding a suitable license from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (Quebec Building Board).
