Description:

The program aims to meet the development, consolidation and adaptation needs of companies and organizations working in the Quebec film industry in a context of changing supply, promotion and distribution of films.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be Quebec-based companies;
2. be legally constituted as for-profit or non-profit organizations (NPOs);
3. be operating in the fields of cinema promotion and distribution;
4. be companies that meet the following conditions:
a) Having its headquarters and main establishment in Quebec and demonstrating that effective control of the company is predominantly held by Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have their tax residence in Quebec. The term “headquarters and main establishment” refers to the location where the center of decision-making is situated and where the true management of the company takes place.
b) Demonstrating sound financial management and possessing the necessary human, material, and financial resources.

Application Steps:

1. All requests must be sent through the secure electronic portal SOD@ccès.
2. By connecting to SOD@ccès, applicants must:
a) create their user profile if they are a new user or enter their access codes;
b) choose the program number corresponding to the component for which they wish to submit an application (the program numbers are specified in the application submission guides);
c) complete the application form and upload all required documents.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must prepare the documentation to transfer to SOD@ccès, including:
1. a declaration of the applicant company;
2. a completed Part 1A – Distributors – Deposit;
3. a completed Part 1A – Commercial broadcasters – Filing;
4. additional documents, as listed.

Other Things to Note:

Applicants must review the filing deadlines before submitting their applications.
