Description:

This program allows the City to grant back to businesses all incremental increases in municipal property taxes resulting from new aerospace related development on Airport lands for up to 25 years.

Comments on Funding:

The City grants back to businesses all incremental increases in municipal property taxes resulting from new aerospace related development on Airport lands
The total amount granted back cannot exceed the total value of the eligible development work, including any new buildings or structures.

Deadline:

December 31, 2030

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be owners and tenants;
2. make aerospace related development.

Application Steps:

Applicants must set up a pre-consultation meeting to be considered for a grant under this program.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must:
1. submit the completed application form;
2. attach drawings if available/appropriate to support the development, improvements, studies, remediation or other works to be undertaken on subject property.

Other Things to Note:

This Community Improvement Plan shall remain in effect and applications for the Airport Development Grant Program will be accepted until December, 31, 2030.
