Advanced Hydrocarbons: Cleaner Hydrocarbon Production

By mmuise
Description:

Advanced Hydrocarbons supports economic, environmental, and diversification opportunities in Alberta's oil & gas sector. The Advanced Hydrocarbons portfolio consists of two programs: Cleaner Hydrocarbon Production and Innovative Hydrocarbon Products.
The Cleaner Hydrocarbon Production program funds innovative techniques of hydrocarbon extraction that reduce greenhouse gases, water usage and land footprint while improving the cost competitiveness of industry and/or accessing new resources.
Its Recovery Technologies subprogram funds innovative techniques of hydrocarbon extraction that reduce greenhouse gases, water usage and land footprint while improving the cost competitiveness of industry and/or accessing new resources.
Its Methane Emissions Reduction subprogram measures, monitors, and mitigates methane emissions in alignment with provincial and federal targets.
Its Digital Oilfield subprogram accelerates the development and adoption of a wide variety of emerging technologies in the oil and gas industry for economic and environmental benefits.
