Community Initiatives

By mmuise

The Community Initiatives program offers grants to support community initiatives proposed by individuals and for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the Edmonton region. Community Initiatives must bring value to entrepreneurs, build community, and meet needs in the ecosystem.

Comments on Funding:

1. There are currently two funding streams: events and small scale programs. The former allows for up to $10,000.00 in grant funding, while the latter has a limit of $35,000.00. 2. Initiatives are not funded retroactively and ERIN prefers to match funding amounts. This means that applications that references other source(s) of funding are looked upon more favourably than applications with no other source of funding.
