Heritage Preservation Partnership Program (HPPP): Publication Grants

Publication grants support the production of print or digital publications that preserve, interpret, and promote appreciation of Alberta’s history. The maximum matching grant is $10,000 for books and $3,000 for brochures, pamphlets and booklets.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a maximum matching grant of $10,000 for books and $3,000 for brochures, pamphlets and booklets.

Deadline: First working day of February (annually)

Applicants must be:

  • individuals that reside in Alberta or have a permanent Alberta address;
  • registered organizations in Alberta:
    a) non-profit organizations;
    b) corporations;
    c) municipalities;
    d) churches;
    e) schools and other educational institutions;
    f) First Nations;
    g) Metis Settlements.

    The following applicants cannot apply for the grant:
  • printers;
  • provincial government departments;
  • friends organizations associated with government owned or operated historic sites and interpretive centres.
