Belleville Chamber of Commerce

Description

The Belleville Chamber of Commerce has been honoured to serve the business community since 1864. Originally chartered as the Board of Trade for Hastings County, businesses were required to participate. In 1920 it transferred to Part II of the Board of Trade Act, renamed the Belleville Chamber of Commerce and represents one of the most oldest chambers in Eastern Ontario. As the region developed, Chambers were incorporated in Quinte West and Prince Edward County and we work together regularly representing the Bay of Quinte riding for both the provincial and federal governments. North of the 401, Belleville also shares the Hastings, Lennox & Addington riding with smaller chambers up to Bancroft and east through Napanee. Although we are separate Chambers representing different cities and towns, we take a regional approach to our endeavours. After all, business knows no boundaries.

We are here to help your business prosper. We connect you to other businesses and the community; we represent you at all levels of government and we share our influence to support your interests as they support the community. Knowing your needs helps us ensure Belleville has a strong, growing and thriving community for you to be a part of.
