Chambers Plan – Business Assistance Service (BAS)
Providing owners the resources to help manage their business more efficiently
Most small businesses do not have access to HR resources which could help them deal with unexpected problems which can arise. The Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan Business Assistance Service is designed with this in mind. The BAS is a confidential service offered to all enrolled firms and employees for free through their Chamber Plan. For business owners the service can provide up to 6 hours (combined) of free management services such as legal, accounting and specialized human resources advice per calendar year.

For employees the service provides a confidential referral with up to 12 hours of counseling per insured employee per calendar year for work related problems, dependency problems, marital and family problems and personal problems.

The Business Assistance Service is free so the employer will incur no out of pocket expenses and they are not required to submit any claim forms.
Held periodically throughout the year, the BMCC After 6s are free evening events that offer our members a chance to network, share ideas and have some fun in various locations around the Town of the Blue Mountains. These events can include a brief presentation by a local business or service provider, an introduction to a new business, information about upcoming initiatives and opportunities, and guidance to help our members take full advantage of being a part of The Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce. They ALWAYS include great beverages, appetizers and entertainment!

Weekly Billboard Rentals
The Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce offers our members exclusive access to our billboard, located outside the Chamber building on Hwy 26, for rental by the week. Rental periods run from Wednesday-Wednesday, and the rate is $200 + HST per week ($125 + HST for not-for-profit members). Each side of the billboard has 6 lines, each with space for a maximum of 18 characters.
