Description:
This Program provides a wage subsidy to employers in the Columbia Basin to provide employment to apprentices to complete their Red Seal work-based requirements.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. Be a business (with 100 employees or fewer, including management), local government, non-profit or First Nation community.
2. operate and have headquarters in the Basin region.
3. Employers providing employment to an apprentice to complete their work-based requirements for the following trades:
a. Auto Body and Collision Technician
b. Automotive Service Technician
c. Baker
d. Carpenter
e. Construction Craft Worker (labourer)
f. Cook (Professional Cook 3)
g. Electrician, Construction
h. Electrician, Industrial
i. Hairstylist
j. Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
k. Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
l. Painter and Decorator
m. Plumber
n. Truck & Transport Mechanic
o. Welder
