The Business Equity Fund (BEF) provides grants to Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities that are proposing to establish a business, acquire a business or expand an existing business.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

  • Canadian Indigenous individuals, including:
    a) Status Indian;
    b) Non - Status Indian;
    c) Inuk;
    d) Métis.
  • Canadian corporations, partnerships, associations or other legal entities that are majority-owned and controlled by Canadian Indigenous people. Cases where Indigenous communities have a minority interest in a partnership or joint venture can be supported
  • Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities in British Columbia.

1. In a special agreement with “Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada” and the “National Aboriginal Capital Corporation Association” All Nations Trust Company is recognized as an “External Delivery Organization” for the Business Equity Fund (BEF).
2. ANTCO’s service area is vast, covering most of the province of British Columbia.
