The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) enhances child care affordability by offering funding to eligible, licensed providers to reduce and stabilize parents’ monthly child care fees.


Comments on Funding:

Approved providers receive the following amounts:
- $350/month for group infant/toddler care (under 36 months);
- $200/month for family infant/toddler care (under 36 months);
- $100/month for group care for children aged 3 to Kindergarten; and
- $60/month for family care for children aged 3 to Kindergarden.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be licensed child care providers, with eligible facility that:

  • must belong to an organization that has an approved CCOF Funding agreement in place;
  • must offer at least one eligible child care category:
    a) Group infant and toddler care (Under 36 months);
    b) Family infant and toddler care (Under 36 months);
    c) Group care for children aged 3 years to kindergarten;
    d) Family care for children aged 3 years to kindergarten.
  • If the facility does not charge a parent fee, it may still be eligible.
