Community Futures 16/37 helps the entrepreneur who may wish to start a business or existing businesses that wish to expand or invest in new equipment. It provides business development loans ranging from $5,000 to $150,000 and larger loans of up to $2,000,000 using their extended network of Community Futures offices and other financial institutions.

Applicants must:

  • be businesses looking for funds to:
    a) start a business;
    b) purchase an existing business;
    c) expand their business;
    d) purchase Equipment;
    e) provide Working Capital;
    f) finance a Project.
  • provide adequate security and a demonstrated financial investment in the business either in cash, assets or both;
  • be based in Highway 16/37 Region.
