Description:
CAE Beauce-Chaudière’s Quasi-Equity Loan is aimed to increase the equity capital necessary to support the realization of business projects, in complementarity with the financing offer of traditional financial institutions.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is a loan or an investment between $100,000 to $300,000:
– Interest rate :
a) Bank of Canada TP + % risk premium + 2%, and/or
b) % of EBITDA.
– Convertible into shares at book value, in the event of default;
– Early repayment without penalty after 3 years under certain conditions;
– Disbursement fee of 1% of the loan amount.
Continuous Intake
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be entrepreneurs seeking financing for succession projects, productivity improvement, expansion or innovation;
2. have companies with at least 3 years of existence;
3. have a minimum EBITDA of $250,000 over the last two years;
4. have a project cost at least $1 million;
5. have companies with 200 employees or less;
6,. provide a monetary investment (Term loan equivalent to two dollars for every dollar invested by the promoter in capital);
7. have its main place of business in the territory of the MRC Beauce-Sartigan, Nouvelle-Beauce or Beauce-Centre.
