Description:
Investissement Quebec provides Quebec development capital to Quebec companies. Entrepreneurs can obtain up to $100 million in debt financing and 10 million or more in equity financing.

Funding takes the form of loans of up to $100m or equity financing of $10m or more.
Debt financing types:
1. Senior Secured Loan: Usually with other lenders. Competitive and market-compliant terms.
2. Subordinated loan: with or without guarantee. Reimbursement terms and pricing established according to the company’s situation, under prevailing market conditions.
3. Convertible debt: Terms of conversion, repayment and pricing established according to the company’s situation, under prevailing market conditions.
Eligibility:
All businesses in Quebec are eligible, except those belonging to the following sectors:
1. agricultural exploitation*;
2. finance and insurance;
3. real estate (some activities are excluded)
4. retail and retail-like activities;
5. other sectors where the clientele consists mainly of individuals, with the exception of the tourism sector.
* However, companies that are not eligible for the programs of La Financière agricole du Québec could still benefit from financing from Investissement Québec.
