ventureLAB’s Capital Investment Program assists scale-ready companies in developing a long-term capital strategy to spur rapid growth. Since its inception in 2012, the program’s Advisors have helped numerous founders raise over $150 million in private investment. The program now extends its services to underrepresented and early-stage founders across Canada, offering comprehensive support in the fundraising process. This includes refining investment pitches and linking founders with aligned investors to achieve their investment objectives.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be scale-ready companies;
2. be established in Canada;
3. meet these eligibility criteria:
a) be an experienced, diverse team with multiple full-time co-founders with the track record to execute the growth strategy;
b) be companies with demonstrable market traction, recurring market revenue and customer response. In some cases, they are supporting earlier-stage companies and pre-seed ventures;
c) have technology that is innovative, defensible solving a significant problem;
d) have identified the correct segment of customers to target, reasonable plan to reach this segment, understanding of the sales cycle.

A specific avenue of focus for the Capital Investment Program is reserved for underrepresented founders who may be seeking earlier stage investments.
