Description:
CENGN helps small and medium-sized Canadian technology companies accelerate their commercialization efforts by giving them no-cost access to CENGN multi-cloud commercial-grade computing and networking testbed to run projects that accelerate their commercialization efforts.
CENGN accepts projects in a wide range of technology areas, but their specialties are: SDN/NFV/SD-WAN, IoT, Data Centre/Cloud, Security, Mobile Networks, AI, Network Transport, and Network Applications (e.g.: automation, analytics, operational support, etc.).
There are 4 Project Streams:
1. Residential Broadband Program;
2. Smart Mining Program;
3. Smart Agriculture Program;
4. Commercialization Services.

Continuous Intake
Eligibility:
The applicant must:
1. be a Canadian-based SME,
2. have less than 500 employees, and less than $50M in annual revenue,
3. have a product which is either in market now, or is approaching the end of development.
The company can make productive use of the CENGN testbed to advance its commercialization efforts.
Application Steps:
Applicants must complete and submit an online form and will be contacted by a member of CENGN business development team within a week.

No specific documentation has been identified.
Other Things to Note:
I. CENGN considers new projects on a rolling basis. Selected companies can often start their projects within 1-3 months of contacting them.
II. Projects are 9 to 12 weeks in duration and typically range from demonstrations to interoperability tests to scale/stress tests. In addition to the testbed resources, CENGN also provides applicants with project management and engineering support during the project. Their marketing team will work with applicants to create and distribute materials that promote the success of their project.
