The Chamber of Commerce of Bonaventure, Saint-Siméon and Saint-Elzéar was founded in 1980. However, it is from 2008 that it is possible to easily list the activities of the Chamber. It was during this same year that Mr. Maurice Quesnel was hired as general manager. The chamber at that time had 86 members. A first name change was made, becoming the MRC Bonaventure Chamber of Commerce.
