The Newcomer Loan Program is designed to provide financing to those who would otherwise not receive support because of their resident status.The program would offer repayable loans of up to $20,000 for newcomers to create a start-up or purchase an existing business in Newfoundland & Labrador.

1. be individuals;
2. be 19 years old or older;
3. have no permanent resident status;
4. be from all sectors, with eligibility extending to all communities in the service area of CBDC Burin Peninsula.
