Description:
Self-Employment Assistance (SEA) offers support through coaching, continuous technical guidance, and financial aid for a duration of up to 52 weeks.
Comments on Funding:
The applicant is currently receiving or is eligible for Employment Insurance benefits can continue to receive these benefits for up to one year.
Continuous Intake
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be unemployed individuals that:
a) have a current EI Claim; or
b) dad a EI benefit ended within the last three years; or
c) have established a benefit period within the past five years prior to the date of requesting assistance, was paid parental or maternity benefits, and are re-entering the labour force after having left it in order to care for a newborn or newly adopted child.
2. be starting a business in the service area of CBDC Eastern.
