CDC of Sault Ste. Marie & Area’s Downtown Development Loans are designed to help stimulate economic activity in the Downtown Core.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is a loan of up to $10,000:
– With flexible payment terms;
– A portion may be forgiven if the business maintains operations downtown and has achieved job creation/sustainment targets.
– A Pop Up shop, to be located downtown has a maximum support of $20K.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be existing businesses, currently located downtown;
2. be existing business, relocating to the downtown;
3. be new businesses, to be located downtown;
4. be Pop Up shop, to be located downtown.

Applicants must:
1. complete a loan application form;

Applicants must provide a completed loan application form, and other information as requested.
