Community Futures Huron offers local investment funds to help finance new or existing small businesses and social enterprises for start-up, expansion or stabilization plans that help maintain or create jobs.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is up to $250,000:
– a 2% loan development and maintenance fee (to a maximum of $2,000) that is paid up front after the loan is approved.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be new or existing small businesses;
2. be social enterprises;
3. be seeking financing for start-up, expansion or stabilization;
4. have a strong business idea and business plan;
5. be in CF Huron’s service area.

Application Steps:

Applicants must complete the online application form and upload the required documentation.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must provide/upload the following:
1. Completed Business Plan;
2. Past financial statements;
3. 12-month cashflow projection; and
4. Two pieces of ID.
