Description:
The objective of the Business Creation and Start-up competition is to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and business creation among the community of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and the four CEGEPs of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean (Chicoutimi, Jonquière, Alma and Saint-Félicien).
Comments on Funding:
The prizes, totaling $8,000, are awarded in the form of scholarships according to the following distribution:
– 1st prize: $5,000
– 2nd prize: $2,000
– 3rd prize: $1,000.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be students or graduate for 5 years or less from UQAC or one of the four CEGEPs in the region;
2. not have been a recipient of a previous edition of the CEE-UQAC Business Creation and Start-up competition;
3. propose business projects that have their head office in Quebec.
4. An entrepreneurial team must be made up of at least 50% students and/or graduates (5 years or less).

Documentation Needed:
Applicants must provide through email the following documents:
1. a completed Registration Form ;
2. completed business plan ( it is strongly recommended to submit a business plan that follows the order of presentation of the evaluation grid );
3. proof of registration in one of the study programs at UQAC or one of the 4 CEGEPs in the region (e.g.: proof from the Registrar, transcript, course schedule, diploma).
Other Things to Note:
Projects must be submitted before the deadline, Friday April 12, 2024, 4 p.m. by email to cee-uqac@uqac.ca .
