Description:

The Concours Mon Entreprise supports entrepreneurial projects and promotes innovation projects at UQAM. It encourages the creation of businesses of all types by supporting candidates in putting together their business plan. Several scholarships will be awarded to the winners to help them in their business start-up and development project.

Comments on Funding:

Several scholarships will be awarded to the winners to help them in their business start-up and development project, as follows:
1. The first three positions will receive a National Bank scholarship between $5,000 and $15,000 (1st prize: $15,000; 2nd Prize: $10,000; 3rd prize: $5,000).
2. There are two $3,000 Emerging Entrepreneurs scholarships are awarded by the Jean-Louis Tassé Foundation.
3. There is a $3,500 scholarship awarded to the coup project of the ESG-UQAM student association.
4. There is a $2,500 grant that aims to encourage the jury’s favorite project.

Deadline:

January 28, 2024

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be students;
2. be graduates;
3. be wishing to launch their businesses;
4. be from University of Quebec in Montreal.

Application Steps:

Applicants must submit a project presentation letter, of a maximum of three (3) pages, that is presenting:
1. the entire team,
2. their project or idea, its rationale;
3. description of the opportunity and the commercial potential;
4. the stage of the project and the next steps;

5. This presentation letter must be sent in PDF format to the email address at entrepreneurship@uqam.ca

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit:
1. a business plan;
2. an executive summary;
3. a powerpoint presentation;
4. additional information as requested.
