Description:
The ÉcoPerformance program offers financial assistance of up to $40 million to support the implementation of major industrial projects whose measures reduce GHG emissions on industrial sites.
Comments on Funding:
The maximum financial assistance per application and per site is $40M.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be industries;
2. have major industrial projects whose measures reduce GHG emissions on industrial site;
3. have projects be located on an industrial site subject to the cap and trade system for greenhouse gas emission allowances (SPEDE), and the industry benefiting from the reduction in GHG emissions must also be subject to this system;
4. have any of these eligible measures:
a) Energy efficiency projects;
b) Energy conversion projects;
c) Fugitive emission reduction projects.
Application Steps:
Applicants must:
1. provide:
a) Financial assistance request form in Excel format, tabs 1 and 3.1 duly completed;
b) the Financial Assistance Application Form in PDF format, signed and dated by the authorized signatory;
c) the Project Plan, signed and dated by an engineer;
d) the Monitoring Plan, signed and dated by an engineer;
e) the complete Business Plan demonstrating the profitability for the company of the implementation of the project;
d) all other documents relevant to the project;

Documentation Needed:
Applicants must provide:
1. a completed Financial aid application form;
2. relevant documents related to the project such as technical data sheets, spreadsheet or spreadsheet, plans, related reports;
3. a business plan;
4. additional documents as listed.
