ÉcoPerformance aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the energy consumption of businesses by financing projects or measures related to energy consumption and production, as well as process improvement.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be businesses;
2. be institutions;
3. be municipalities;
4. be using fossil fuels;
5. be using processes generating fugitive greenhouse gas emissions;
6. be small consumers;
7. be large consumers.

Other Things to Note:
1. The EcoPerformance and Bioenergy (formerly Residual Forest Biomass) programs are funded from the Low Carbon Economy Fund.
2. Projects submitted to the EcoPerformance, Residual Forest Biomass or Bioenergy programs and accepted between December 7, 2018 and March 31, 2024 are not eligible for financial assistance offered under any program or expression of interest whose source of funding comes from the Low Carbon Economy Fund (FEFEC)of the federal government.
