This program offers financial incentives for the audit and replacement of failed steam traps of $15 per steam trap tested to a maximum of $10,000 per audit.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have industrial, commercial, and agricultural facilities that operate large steam boilers and distribution systems with many steam traps

Application Steps:

Applicants must:
1. fill out the Steam Trap Audit Program questionnaire;
2. get in touch with a contractor that they’d like to perform the steam trap audit for them and have them provide a quote;
3. submit a Financial Incentive Application;
4. conduct the Audit and replace failed traps.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit a copy of their steam trap audit report along with an invoice showing that they’ve paid the contractor
