Enbridge Gas Fixed Incentives – Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) and Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV)

Description:

This Program offers an incentive to industrial customers and contractors towards the purchase and installation of a heat recovery ventilator (designed to keep heat in while moving stale air out) and/or energy recovery ventilator (take advantage of the humidity levels in the airflow).

Comments on Funding:

The following incentives are available for:
1. HRV – up to $1.25/CFM, minimum $200 to maximum $5,000 per unit.
2. ERV – up to $1.75/CFM, minimum $200 to maximum $8,000 per unit.

Incentive paid is based on the operating CFM of the ERV/HRV and to qualify for an incentive, the sensible effectiveness used to validate the above criteria must be at the operating CFM level.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have eligible equipment:
1. ERV/HRV with a minimum sensible effectiveness of 55 percent at 32 F for spaces with no ERV/HRV, or for spaces were ERV/HRV is not required by code (OBC, SB 10, SB 12); and
2. ERV/HRV with a minimum sensible effectiveness of 65 percent at 32 F for spaces were ERV/HRV is required by code.
