Description:
The ENCQOR 5G Grant supports technological projects that use the 5G infrastructure and that have have TRL ratings of between 1 and 7.
Comments on Funding:
The financial contribution (grant) for the IT projects will be in the form of a reimbursement of up to 50% of eligible expenses for the project and will have an average value of $66,000.
– Prompt reserves the right to recommend a funding bonus of up to $150,000 for projects with high spin-off potential.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be Quebec Small- or Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs);
2. have technological projects that use the 5G infrastructure and have Technology Readiness Level (TRL) ratings of between 1 and 7 in Quebec;
3. have operations and/or R&D in Quebec related to the project.
Application Steps:
1. In order to submit a request for a funded iPaaS TI project, applicants must first be accepted for regular access.

ENCQOR’s goal is to deploy a fifth generation (5G) telecommunication network in the Québec/London corridor that will give businesses access to cutting-edge technologies, such as programmable bandwidth networks, the Internet of Things, silicon photonics, Big Data analytics and cloud computing, to name a few.
