Description:
This program provides funding to Child Care Operators for their child care centres or family day homes. Funding can be used for regulatory requirements related to health and safety, and playground development and maintenance.
Comments on Funding:
Funding takes the form of grants of up to $5,000 for licensed child care centres and up to $500 for family day homes.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. be licensed child care centres; or
2. be family day homes;
3. be established in Yukon.
Application Steps:
Applicants must:
1. download the application form;
2. talk to the Early Learning and Child Care Unit about their application. Call Early Learning and Child Care Unit at 867-667-3492 or toll free 1-800-661-0408, extension 3492. They can also talk to their child care inspector;
