Deadline: Applications are closed. Stay tuned for future intake announcements. The previous deadline was on October 26, 2023.

Applicants must:

  • need funding & community to take their business to the next level;
  • want a supportive environment to learn how to secure funding for their business;
  • want to make life changing connections & be inspired;
  • be Canadian self-identifying women entrepreneurs in any industry & at any size or stage of business.
Application Steps:

1. Applicants must submit a 1-minute pitch video, where applicants share their business vision, plan for growth, pasions and the impact it will have on their communities. 2. The Forum will host 2 days of complimentary live virtual education sessions to help applicants learn more about the types of capitals that can accelerate your business, how to access them and how to refine their pitch for them. 3. The Forum Community Panel–who represent a cross-section of industries, backgrounds, and geographies–will review all submissions and choose the Semi-Finalists, whose businesses will be celebrated and receive exposure through The Forum’s national channels.

4. Semi-Finalists will be paired with a dedicated mentor to help them prepare and hone their storytelling skills. Applicants will review and re-work their pitch to be 3 minutes in length alongside someone who has real-world experience and specialized expertise to support them in crafting their pitch.

5. At the Semi-Final, The Forum's Community Panel will ask questions and share observations that can help applicants learn and grow, and then select three Finalists to move on to The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch Finale.

6. If selected, applicants will work with a new mentor and a presentation coach. These experts will help applicants integrate the feedback they have received, access specialized resources for their business, and further refine their final pitch.
