Description:

Working with Dairy Farmers of Canada and Lactanet, FCC has created an incentive program for eligible FCC customers. The criteria to qualify will be a combination of herd sustainability metrics and proAction® environment module results.

Producers on milk recording with Lactanet can use the recently launched Herd Sustainability Index results, while those not on milk recording can qualify by providing similar metrics.

Comments on Funding:

Incentive payments are calculated as a portion of your FCC lending, up to a maximum of $2,000 in one year. You can reapply annually throughout the life of the program. Starbucks Canada will be providing an additional incentive of $1,000 to eligible applicants in the categories of Top Achieving and Most Improved.

Deadline:

Applications are closed and will re-open in 2025.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

1. Be FCC customers in good standing with a balance owing on eligible, existing FCC lending

2. Meet sustainability criteria for producers using Lactanet milk recording or an on-farm herd management system* as described in the eligibility criteria.

*Organic dairy production is not reflected in the criteria. If you’re an organic dairy farmer and wish to apply, contact sustainabilityprograms@fcc.ca.

To be considered for the additional Starbucks incentive amounts, you must meet FCC Sustainability Incentive Program criteria and consent to be considered for the additional Starbucks incentive within the program application.
