Ag-Tech HARVEST Program

The Ag-Tech HARVEST Program focuses on technology to assess and improve soil health at a scale consistent with Saskatchewan agriculture and connects emerging technology solutions to the Saskatchewan agricultural industry. This program supports companies in their travel and attendance at the 2023 Ag in Motion Outdoor Farm Expo.

Comments on Funding:

Financial compensation of up to $3,000 CAD is provided to each winner following their participation in the HARVEST program and trip to the Saskatoon Region.

Deadline: Applications are closed. Stay tuned for future intake announcements.

Applicants must be companies:

  • with technology that:
    a) is applicable to the Saskatchewan agriculture industry;
    b) is focused on Soil Health & Analytics;
    c) provides growers real-time knowledge of agricultural soil health through data and forecasting;
    d) helps growers quantify soil health, measuring physical and biological aspects, enabling development of regenerative targets and economical production decisions.
  • with a suite (or system) of soil health measurements or technologies, or a single measurement or system that can be readily partnered with existing technologies already in market in Saskatchewan. Especially technologies that assess:
    a) soil organic carbon concentration;
    b) carbon and nutrient cycling capacity;
    c) stability of soil structure;
    d) soils water holding capacity, and resistance to wind and water erosion.
  • located outside of Saskatchewan (Canada-wide and world-wide);
  • with under 25 employees.
    Preference will be given to first-time visitors to the Saskatoon Region.
