The Production Program finances Canadian feature films at the production or post-production stage.

Canadian budget less than $1.5 million: the lesser of 49% of eligible Canadian production costs or $500,000; Canadian budget between $1.5 million and less than $3.5 million: one third of eligible Canadian production costs; Canadian budget $3.5 million and more: the lesser of 49% of eligible Canadian production costs or $3.5 million for French-language projects, or $4 million for projects in other languages; Minority coproductions where the Canadian share is 30% and less: $500,000; Indigenous Stream: an additional $100,000 towards the remote location shoot and/or capacity-building program (total Telefilm funding not to exceed 49% of the eligible Canadian production costs)
