FDÉS supports social economy projects, from the planning stage to growth. It is also intended to support the emergence of innovative projects that explore new sectors or new approaches or develop new expertise.

Funding takes the form of grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.

Eligibility:

The applicant must:
1. be a social economy enterprise or a non-profit organization (NPO) with a social economy project;
2. be headquartered in Montréal;
3. take a formal entrepreneurial approach;
4. have self-generated revenue from the sale of goods or services representing 20% of their annual revenue;
5. show their ability to create or maintain jobs;
6. invest at least 20% of the total project cost.
