The Agricultural Microcredit Fund helps agricultural businesses in the start-up process, in the process of development or diversification, in order to promote the development of small agricultural businesses through technical and financial support.

Interest-free loan of 20% of the project for a maximum of $10,000.

Eligibility:
The applicant must:
1. be any company that mainly carries out or will carry out agricultural activities, i.e. activities related to “agricultural production/cultivation” or “production & processing” (NB: companies whose production is subject to the supply management rules, i.e. which are part of collective marketing, are ineligible for a loan from the Fund);
2. be a company whose head office is located in the MRC de Beauce-Sartigan and whose activities covered by the funding request are carried out in this territory;
3. be a company that has been in existence for less than 10 years and whose turnover does not exceed $250,000;
4. be a company whose activities comply with the laws, standards and rules in force.
