Description:
The Women’s Entrepreneurship Fund aims to encourage women entrepreneurs in order to facilitate their access to financing for their business project. Financial assistance of up to $100,000 is available to women entreprenerus to enable the completion of business acquisition, start-up, expansion or modernization projects.

Funding takes the form of loans of up to $100,000.
Loan terms and fees:
1. The applicable interest rate is fixed at the base rate for Bank of Canada business loans plus 2% to 6% according to the SADC analysis grid.
2. Financial participation takes the form of a term loan that can be spread over an amortization period established according to the project financed or according to a favorable repayment capacity of 1.1 demonstrated by the company. The lesser of the two will be chosen. A maximum amortization period of 15 years cannot be exceeded for any project.
3. Possibility of capital moratorium during the first 12 months of the loan.
4. As security, only the promoter’s personal guarantee will be required.

1. be women entrepreneurs;
2. be seeking financing for their business project, business acquisition, start-up, expansion or modernization projects.
3. have projects be in a sector of activity that addresses a community need. It must not harm other businesses of the same nature in the Haut St-Maurice region.
