Description:

The Young Promoters Fund aims to help young entrepreneurs create or acquire a first business by offering them technical and financial support.

Comments on Funding:

Loan of $5,000 per promoter, maximum $10,000 per business.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be young entrepreneurs;
2. be at least 18 years old and at most 39 years old;
3. have experience or training relevant to the project;
4. commit to working full-time in the business;
5. hold at least 50% of the company’s shares. In the case of a succession project, hold a minimum of 25% of the voting and participating shares;
6. rely on a business plan and financial forecasts demonstrating the viability of the project;
7. lead to the creation or maintenance of at least two permanent jobs;
8. make a down payment of at least 20%;
9. be established in MRC de Beauce-Sartigan.
