This fund aims to support the transfer of ownership and the preparation of the succession of businesses in the MRC de Beauce-Sartigan.

Comments on Funding:

Loan up to 20% of project cost, maximum $100,000 for manufacturing businesses; while up to $50,000 for trade and service project.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. be businesses transferring ownership and preparing for the succession of businesses in the MRC de Beauce-Sartigan whose owners are preparing or leaving for their retirement;
2. demonstrate that they have the knowledge and relevant experience in the field as well as management knowledge and skills;
3. acquire a minimum of 25% of the participating voting shares of a company whose owners are aging;
4. make a down payment of at least 15% in cash of the cost of the project;
5. demonstrate the viability of the project and a capacity for repayment through financial forecasts.
