Description:

Gazifère offers financial assistance for the purchase or rental of commercial condensing water heaters that offer 90% or more energy efficiency. Two types of such heaters qualify for financial assistance: condensing storage water heaters (with tank) and condensing water heaters (tankless).

Comments on Funding:

The financial assistance provided by Gazifère can reach up to $18,500 for a condensing storage water heater, which has a tank, and up to $19,500 for a tankless condensing water heater.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Gazifère commercial or institutional customers.

Application Steps:

Applicants must:
1. complete and send the pre-admission application form;
2. get approved;
3. coordinate the installation of the new unit;
4. submit their application and documents by email or by mail :

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit:
1. a technical data sheet of the unit;
2. a copy of the confirmation of payment for the appliance (The invoice must have been issued in the current year. It must show the model and the date the appliance was installed. The date of installation must be later than the date of approval of their pre-admission application.).

1. Gazifère is a private corporation employing 110 people, and a subsidiary of Enbridge Inc. Established in the Outaouais region in 1959, Gazifère is one of two distributors of natural gas in Quebec. Serving more than 43 500 residential, commercial, institutional and industrial customers, Gazifère owns and operates a 1 000 km gas supply system.
2. With a franchise effective until 2031, Gazifère serves the broad expanse of land between Fort-Coulonge, Montebello and Grand-Remous. The company currently supplies all five sectors of the city of Gatineau as well as the municipality of Chelsea.
