Description:

Commercial building owners can get up to $50,000 in financial assistance to conduct the energy analysis of buildings, equipment or processes.

Comments on Funding:

Funding takes the form of a grant. The financial assistance is paid by Hydro‑Québec according to the following rules:
First installment – Following Hydro‑Québec’s approval of the energy analysis:
– 40% of total eligible costs,
– up to a maximum of $20,000.

Second installment – Following the installation of one or more energy efficiency measures included in the energy analysis:
– 60% of total eligible costs,
– up to a maximum of $30,000.

Eligibility:

Applicants’ buildings must:
1. be located in Québec;
2. be used for commercial, institutional, or industrial activities;
3. be supplied by Hydro-Québec’s system or by an eligible off-grid, municipal, or cooperative system.
