The Savings by Design Commercial and Multi-Residential program gives project team free access to industry experts, technical tools and financial incentives to help build high-performance, resilient and sustainable buildings.

Eligibility:

The applicant must have the following eligible projects:
1. commercial, institutional or multi-residential project;
2. at the design phase or earlier;
3. 25,000 sq. ft. or greater, located in the Enbridge Gas service area.
4. located in the Enbridge Gas service area.

Application Steps:

Applicants must/will:
1. submit a complete and fully signed Application to Enbridge Gas;
2. participate in the visioning session and define their project requirements and sustainability priorities; and
3. strategize with energy modellers and sustainable design experts to maximize their project’s energy and environmental performance at a full-day workshop facilitated by Sustainable Buildings Canada.

An energy model will be developed as well as a final report summarizing the options discussed and recommendations.
