Description:

The Jobs and Growth Fund provides funding to businesses and organizations to help create jobs and position local economies for long-term growth.
Businesses working on a project to transition to a green economy, foster an inclusive recovery, become more competitive and create jobs for Canadians, could get an interest-free, repayable contribution for up to 50% of the project’s costs. Indigenous applicants can receive non-repayable contributions for up to 100% of eligible costs.

1. Eligible businesses could receive interest-free repayable contributions for up to 50% of eligible costs.
2. Eligible not-for profit organizations could receive non-repayable contributions for up to 90% of eligible costs.
3. Eligible Indigenous recipients can receive non-repayable contributions for up to 100% of eligible costs.

Applications are no longer accepted.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:
1. businesses, including co-operatives;
2. not-for-profit organizations and community economic development partners;

3. Indigenous-led organizations and/or businesses are strongly encouraged to apply.

Nov. 2023: As all the funds available for the Jobs and Growth Fund have been allocated, new funding applications under this Fund are no longer accepted. 1. This program is part of the Regional Economic Growth through Innovation (REGI) and the Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP).
2. Applications will be accepted on a continuous intake basis until such time as the funding is fully allocated.
3. Regional Economic Growth through Innovation (REGI), Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP) and Community Futures Program (CFP) are the three major programs that bring together the various financial assistance measures offered by CED. REGI supports the economic growth of businesses and regions through innovation.
QEDP aims to help communities seize promising economic development and diversification opportunities.
CFP supports local economic development and strengthens the capacity of communities to develop their full potential in a sustainable manner. Through this program, CED provides financial support for community development organizations in Quebec regions.
