Climate Action Fund: Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Funding

Description:

The Climate Action Fund supports projects with up to $150,000 in grant funding to help businesses, communities and non-profit organizations address the challenges of climate change while helping to build a low-carbon economy and making life more affordable for Manitobans.

Comments on Funding:

Projects that include the installation of electric vehicle chargers may be eligible up to 50% of total project costs, up to a maximum of $100,000 per charger. Funding amounts depend on the type of charger installed. See the program guide for more detailed information.

Applications are closed. Stay tuned for future intake announcements.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:
1. Businesses (including Social Enterprise Businesses) that are registered with the Province of Manitoba;
2. Academic or educational institution;
3. Manitoba Municipality;
4. Northern Affairs Community;
5. Indigenous community or organization;
6. Incorporated non-profit organization.

1. accomlished and signed Application Form;
2. complete project proposal;
3. Letter of partnership;
4. detailed Letter(s) of Support outlining the role and responsibilities of partners and how their involvement will benefit the project;
5. all supporting documents.
