Description:

The Farmland School Tax Rebate (FSTR) was implemented in 2004 to support the rural economy by providing Manitoba farmland owners with school tax relief.

Comments on Funding:

The current FSTR rebate percentage is up to 40 per cent of school tax to a maximum of $2,500 between related parties.

Applicants must be farmland owner in Manitoba.

1. contact the Service centre; https://www.masc.mb.ca/masc.nsf/contact.html
2. submit application form to MASC Service Centre

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit an online Application Form.

Other Things to Note:

If you received a rebate in 2023, a pre-populated application form will be supplied to you in 2024.
