Description:
Supports activities to develop and implement community based food systems from planning through to development and implementation. Food systems planning includes a broad range of activities that may include revitalization of traditional food systems, agriculture, community gardens, and local food sovereignty initiatives, and processing and preservation.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Indigenous Groups, including:
a. Businesses and organizations
b. Communities
c. Government
d. Primary producers
e. Other Indigenous-led groups undertaking agricultural initiatives
2. from inside or outside of Manitoba, as long as the activities occur in
Manitoba or have a positive outcome for the province and Indigenous Peoples
living in Manitoba.
a. Priority will be given to those applicants who operate or reside in Manitoba.
